This past Saturday, twenty-one Maine Alpha brothers woke up at six in the morning to make a day trip out to Acadia National Park. Our chapter has been participating in the annual Take Pride in Acadia Day for over 5 years. The event included a morning of cleaning carriage trails that are used by thousands of park visitors every year.
This particular year, a recent wind storm hit Maine and left some extra debris out on the trails. That didn’t stop our brothers from having a fun and giving their best effort. Teamwork was used to rake the trails and clean out trail gutters to prevent trail flooding. Thank you to Acadia National park for allowing us to volunteer. We can’t wait for next year!
